Since its beginning in 1865, Menzies Inc has been supported by many volunteers
in a number of ways. Your assistance will help us continue the quality support we offer to young people in our care, ensuring our efforts remain responsive to their needs.
Focusing on the skills you would like to share, or discovering new ones you may like to develop, is the key to success of our individual and corporate volunteering partnerships. Flexibility in volunteering is something that we encourage. We will work with you to devise a rewarding voluntary commitment that fits into your busy life.
Gardening Volunteers
Ongoing maintenance of the gardens throughout the property through activities such as weeding, mulching, mowing, pruning, propagation and planting.
Bushland Volunteers

Mentoring Volunteers
(One to one group mentoring at Sages Cottage Farm)
This program matches volunteer mentors with young people who are at greatest risk of disconnection from their family, education, community and other essential development areas. This reconnection is done through shared recreational activities promoting the young person to learn and feel socially included.
* Extensive screening process required for this program. For the mentoring program contact Kate Stubbs - stubbsk@menzies.org.au
